Chapter for Emerging Professionals C.E.P.

The Chapter for Emerging Professionals (C.E.P.) is an initiative of the World Green Infrastructure Network (WGIN). It was formally launched during WGIN’s annual general meeting on May 29, 2022. 

As a not-for-profit organization operating under the auspices of WGIN, C.E.P. aims to connect students and young professionals worldwide, promoting and advocating for urban green infrastructure. Our focus is on fostering a global network of young enthusiasts passionate about green architecture and infrastructure, addressing the challenges posed by global warming, and contributing innovative ideas for sustainable development. 

Objectives:

  1. G.I. Advocacy: Lead global green infrastructure advocacy efforts targeting students and young professionals.

  2. Information Dissemination: Disseminate green infrastructure benefits to governments, institutions, and corporations, supporting data-driven green city planning and policy.

  3. Research and Development: Collaborate with like-minded associations and companies to promote green infrastructure research and development.

  4. Advancement Support: Empower and support the professional growth of students and young professionals in the field of green infrastructure.

  5. Supporting WGIN’s Mission: Provide necessary support to help accomplish WGIN’s mission.

Goal/Purpose:

C.E.P. aims to unite students and young professionals worldwide to promote and advocate for green infrastructure technology, innovation, and development. By collaborating with the WGIN board and network of members, C.E.P. aims to amplify its impact on its members and the global green infrastructure community.

MEMBERSHIP.

We welcome emerging green infrastructure enthusiasts worldwide to become members and actively contribute to our community. Our membership includes students and young professionals from Turkey, Colombia, Brazil, Norway, Ghana, Germany, Spain, and India.
