2024 IFLA World Congress

2024 IFLA World Congress

The 60th IFLA World Council and Congress will take place in the vibrant city of Istanbul from 2-6 September 2024.

This year’s World Congress promises to be a truly global gathering, bringing together landscape architects, urban designers, planners, and experts from around the world to discuss the most pressing issues facing green infrastructure.

The theme of this year’s Congress is Code Red for Earth, and topics such as climate action, biodiversity, health and well-being, community participation, and more will be explored. The three-day congress intends to discuss anthropogenic impacts on the Earth system and establish scenarios by forming an action-oriented interaction ground rather than only (re)pointing out the problems. This is a fantastic opportunity to network with leading landscape architects, urban designers, planners, and more experts.
